RELEVANT AREAS OF EXPERTISE
International and North American Experience:
Petroleum engineer with 32 years’ experience in petrophysics, reservoir engineering, economic analysis of oil and gas fields, reserves determinations, and acquisition and divestiture evaluations. Experienced in both deterministic and probabilistic resources assessment methods. Experienced with providing reserves and resources reports and economics for clients and with assisting clients in the acquisition and divestiture of oil and gas assets. Expertise in support of initial public offerings of oil and gas companies. International experience includes major oil and gas field engineering and petrophysical evaluations in Russia (Western Siberia, Volga-Urals, and Arctic); Ukraine; Kazakhstan; Latin America; offshore West Africa; Egypt; and Australia (North West Shelf, Bass Straits, Timor Sea). United States experience includes the Gulf of Mexico offshore; Rocky Mountain onshore, Mid-Continent; and Alaska North Slope (Prudhoe Bay). Specific experience in unconventional plays includes the Bakken, Barnett, Bossier/Haynesville, Eagle Ford/Pearsall, and Marcellus shales and coal bed gas fields. The focus of recent work has included evaluation of contingent and prospective resources, and attention to SPE reserves definition standards.
